Georgia DT heads North
Marrietta (Ga.) Lassiter defensive tackle Neel Allen is heading to the Big 10 after his weekend visit.
"I had a great visit to Minnesota," Allen, who is 6-foot-3 and 270 pounds, said. "I went ahead and committed. The coaches and players were real and the campus was nice."

Allen, who picked the Gophers over Auburn, Kentucky and Georgia, said the chance to play early was a big key in his decision.
"They are hurting at defensive tackle and I have a chance to come in and play early and not redshirt," he said.
"I have cancelled all my other visits."
Auburn and Kentucky had also offered Allen.
