Georgia DE likes trip to K-State

College Park (Ga.) North Clayton defensive end Donnell Sanders came into an official visit to Kansas State this weekend with Arkansas on top of his list. After leaving from Manhattan, Kan., he said he's had to shake things up now.
"Kansas State is up there at the top," Sanders, who is 6-foot-2 and 206 pounds, said. "I didn't commit, but I really liked what I saw up there. I think I could be a good fit for them."

Sanders said he liked many things about his visit, but what was the biggest thing that stood out to him?
"I liked the fan support," Sanders said. "They were really excited about the basketball win, but everybody kept saying that they should see what it's like after they win a football game. I also was impressed by the coaches and the players.
"They players were really cool, and I like how the players are trying to make the team better. I liked Ron Prince a lot. I think he's a guy I could really play for."
Kansas State assistant Pat Washington will be in home with Sanders on Monday, and Arkansas assistant Tracy Rocker will be there, too. Sanders is scheduled to visit Arkansas next weekend. Courtney Herndon was his host on the official visit weekend at K-State.
"He was cool to hang with," Sander said.
