Hannibal says Mississippi State and Troy State are the leaders for his
services entering his senior season.
"I like Mississippi State a lot," he said. "They're always
a real strong defensive team. The way they play would fit my style real well,
and I like the teams they play in the SEC.
"Troy State is also up there real high with me right now.
They're a smaller school, but I like the coaches a whole lot. They're real nice,
and I like the way they work with their players. There's a lot of mutual respect
between them. I think they're a program that's on the rise."
Hannibal (6-2, 240, 4.6, 350 bench) is also hearing from
Florida State, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Central Florida and East Carolina. The
latter two have both offered scholarships. He said he was hoping to get more
interest from Florida State as his senior season progresses.
The Troup County schedule begins Friday with rival
LaGrange, which is led by its star quarterback, Blake Mitchell.
"I've been looking forward to that one. I'm ready for a few
sacks," said Hannibal, who had 125 tackles, 10 sacks, 13 TFL and three forced
fumbles as a junior.
