Georgia DE back from Orlando

Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek defensive end Fred Jones made an official visit to Central Florida during the weekend and came away impressed with the Golden Knights program.
"It was fun," Jones said. "We visited the school and they showed me around campus and I saw the weight room and all the fields that they practice on, including the ones with the turf. It was all very nice.

"I also ate real good."
The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder didn't make a verbal commitment and will continue with his official visits, but UCF head coach George O'Leary made it clear that Jones was wanted in Orlando.
"(O'Leary) said I was an outstanding athlete and after I finish taking my visits, he hopes I choose them," Jones said.
Jones will travel to Bloomington, Ind., this weekend to check out the Hoosiers and will head to Huntingdon, WVa., the following weekend to visit Marshall.
"I'm just hoping to have a good time and visit the colleges," he said.
For now, Central Florida is on top.
"They are probably No. 1 now because I haven't visited anyone else but Kentucky," he said.
All of the programs involved are recruiting the two-star rated prospect as a defensive end.
