Georgia commit LeCounte to take multiple official visits

Verbally committed players take official visits. It happens.

It doesn’t much matter what anyone thinks about it. These days, it’s simply the norm. So when four-star Georgia commit Richard LeCounte says he intends to take official visits, he’s merely sticking to the status quo.

Destinations? Those are already being mulled.

“I’m going to visit Ole Miss for the Georgia Southern game,” LeCounte said. “I’m going to Ohio State definitely. I’m going to my Miami, too.

LeCounte, who attends Hinesville (Ga.) Liberty County High School, is ranked as the No. 8 safety and the No. 90 overall prospect in the 2017 class.

IN HIS WORDS: “I’m just really recruiting for Georgia now,” LeCounte said. “My top target right now is Jeremiah Holloman. It’s all about Jeremiah Holloman.”

RIVALS REACTION: LeCounte will almost certainly sign with Georgia. How many official visits he’ll actually take remains unclear. Still, barring something unforeseen, those trips should not affect the outcome of his recruitment. Visits or no visits, LeCounte remains a strong UGA pledge.
