Georgia CB makes pick
Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson cornerback Alonzo Johnson has made up his mind, and he's spurned the SEC.
"I was picking between Furman and Vanderbilt," Johnson, who is 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, said. "But in the end it was Furman. They have a good winning program.
"They also have a good liberal arts program. It would have been cool to play in the SEC, but Furman is just a better program."
