Georgia CB heads to Big 10
According to Atlanta Booker T. Washington assistant Kevin Weaver, one of his star players has made a commitment to play in the Big 10.
“Our cornerback, Chris Phillips committed to Indiana this past week,” Weaver said. “He’s excited about his decision.”
Phillips, who is 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, picked Indiana over interest from Georgia tech, South Carolina and Clemson. He had 63 tackles and seven interceptions as a junior and is ranked as a two-star prospect by Rivals.com.
