One
of the Peach State's top defensive backs has set a new official visit and

has moved another one to a later date.
"I'm
going to be going to Northwestern this weekend," said Starr's Mill standout
Deante Battle. "I was going to Notre Dame this weekend, but
we needed to change that one. I'll be going there sometime later on, maybe
in January."
A member of the Rivals.com
Georgia
Top 50 team and the No. 22 cornerback in the nation, Battle
(5-10, 187, 4.45) made his visit visit to Colorado on Nov. 15.
"That one went real well," he said. "I really
enjoyed being out there. It was a fun trip, and I loved the atmosphere (for
the Iowa State game)."
He added that Buffaloes assistant coach Eric
Bieniemy will be visiting the Battle household next week.
Any ideas on destinations for the other two official
visits?
"I'm not sure right now," he said. "It's between
Duke, N.C. State, Auburn, Texas, Virginia and Virginia Tech. I've not really
narrowed those down too much. They're kind of behind the other three right
now."
Battle helped lead Starr's Mill to a 9-3 record as a
senior. He recorded 50 tackles, 15 pass break-ups and one interception at
his projected college position. On offense, he also contributed 800 yards
rushing, 300 yards receiving and scored 14 touchdowns.
