Georgia ATH has trips set

Canton (Ga.) Sequoyah athlete Patrick Hall has lined up his first trip and is close to setting one up with an in-state team.
"I've got one set for Penn State on Jan. 11," Hall, who is 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, said. "And Georgia talked to me today about coming in on that first weekend in February."

But Penn State and Georgia aren't the only options for Hall, who can play a number of different positions.
He has offers from Penn State and Georgia Tech, along with others, but is now also getting heavy interest from UGA, UNC and Florida.
"I like Penn State a little bit more now because I just talked to their coach tonight here at my house," Hall said about an in-home with Penn State assistant Kevin Carter.
"He said they like me as a linebacker, a tight end and a fullback. They just want me and want me bad."
Hall, a high school quarterback, said Georgia has come on strong lately and even though UGA has yet to offer they are talking to him about playing tight end and fullback.
"I don't know if my offer with Georgia Tech still stands," Hall said. "But Florida is coming by school (today), so it'll be interesting to see if they offer."
Either way, Hall said he's looking for a place that he can maybe see some action early on.
"That's the biggest key," Hall said. "I really don't care what position I play. I just want to go to a school that'll give me a good opportunity to play early and a town that I feel comfortable in."
