Georgia ATH has three favorites

One of Georgia's top athletes is eager to get his senior season started so
that he can show his game is much bigger than his stature.

Albany's
Edgar
Salisbury (5-8, 165, 4.5) says he knows he's got to play harder than his
opponents in order to prove what kind of player he is.
"I'm a competitor," he said. "That's why I was happy that
they're leaving me at quarterback this year. Coach said he knew I was the best
option because I'm going to fight to win. I love it because there's a lot of
pressure on you, and I like to rise to the occasion. I want to lead us to the state championship this year."
Scouts envision Salisbury, who had almost 1,000 total yards
in a dual-role as a junior, as a wideout on the college level. He received
favorable reviews while camping at Auburn, Alabama (Nike) and Valdosta State
this summer.
"I felt like I had a real good
showing," he said. "I was happy with all of them."
Alabama, Auburn and Georgia have shown the most interest of
late.
"I'm getting a lot of stuff from those
three," he said, "and I'd love to go to one of those schools. I don't really
have a favorite between them. They're all great schools and close to home. It's
basically whoever will give me an opportunity."
