George excited about visit number two

Jeremiah George is a three-star linebacker prospect from Clearwater, Fla. George, 5-11 and 200 pounds, is averaging 10 plus tackle a game and is one of the leaders of the 5-3 Tornadoes.
"I think we are doing pretty good," George said. "I am playing well too. I just got voted into the Pinellas County All-Star Game on December 16th. I am pretty excited about that. This season I am having a good year on defense and I am helping out the offense playing fullback."

A few weeks ago George took his first official visit. It was a visit that has set the bar for the rest of his recruitment.
"I went to Iowa State. Oh man they have so many good things. The first thing they showed me was their academic support. And let me tell you that they have great academic support. Iowa State has a 79% graduation rate. A lot of people said they have this and that they have that but what they have at Iowa State is amazing. From the teachers to tutors is amazing and they all help out the student athlete. I was blown away from the get go and they showed me that first."
In addition to the Cyclone academics, George also clicked with the players and coaches at Iowa State.
"Then I hung out with the team. I think I fit in real well. The coaching staff is great and they were very informative, especially their defensive guys. I like how they are developing as a program. Coach (Wally) Burnham is smart and he wants to play the same type of defense that he had at Florida State and USF. He's a great person with great character."
With Iowa State in the books George will now focus on Kansas. He is almost set to visit the Jayhawks in December.
"I am so excited to see what Kansas is like and I can't wait to get the comparison. It looks like I will visit Kansas on December 11. I am pretty sure about that. If I don't get anymore offers I would like to decide sometime between Christmas and early January."
One team that could throw George a serious curve ball is Michigan. He think that the Wolverines could be close to offering.
"Right now it's pretty much those two (Iowa State and Kansas) but Michigan may offer. Coach Fry like my tape and do did coach (Rich) Rodriguez. Now they just need their defensive coordinator to sign off on it and approve me. That could potentially change things. Michigan has great tradition and they are trying to rebuild. They have a lot of new and young players."
Clearwater High School has this weekend off. Next weekend they face Palm Harbor.
