Wilmington (N.C.) New Hanover tight end George Bryan was one of a handful of North Carolina State commitments in attendance for official visits this past weekend. The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder enjoyed himself, but did he reaffirm his pledge to the Wolfpack?
"The visit went really good," he said. "I got there Friday night after a basketball game. On Saturday, I toured the school, met the coaches and went to the basketball game. The game was good, I wish they would have won, but they had a lot of fan support."
On the visit, Bryan was hosted by Kalani Heppe.
"It was good talking to him and hanging out," he said. "I also got a lot of time with the coaches. I met with coach Bridge. He said he really wanted me at tight end for him and then I talked with Tom O'Brien. He didn't say too much, he just told me how excited he would be to have me."
Did the three-star prospect reaffirm his pledge?
"I have because I think they're going to be a winning program," he said. "I like what they new staff is bringing to the team and I may get an opportunity to play right away. The coaches said they don't redshirt people, the players redshirt themselves depending on how they perform."
