Geohaghan hits double digit offers

Allendale Fairfax (S.C.) junior safety Ronald Geohaghan reached a nice milestone Friday when Pittsburgh became the latest school to offer him a scholarship.
"That's my 10th," Geohaghan said.

According to Geohaghan, he also has offers from Clemson, Duke, East Carolina, Illinois, Kentucky, N.C. State, South Carolina, Tulane and Vanderbilt.
"I would have to say Clemson and South Carolina are recruiting me the hardest probably," Geohaghan said. "I get handwritten letters from those guys every one or two weeks."
Who leads?
"Nobody," Geohaghan said. "It's kind of in the beginning. Right now, I really want to enjoy the recruiting process. You only get to go through it once. I'm going to take my time and evaluate schools … see what they have to offer athletically and academically. "
Geohaghan plans to start trimming his list this summer.
Will Clemson and South Carolina make his first cut? Geohaghan won't say.
"Both are home state schools, and I kind of like them both," he said. "But I can only go to one school, and right now I have 10 offers. I just want to evaluate all of them."
Thus far, Geohaghan has visited Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech and South Carolina.
"My dad says next we'll probably visit East Carolina and Wake Forest, who is recruiting me very hard," Geohaghan said. "[Wake Forest] has my film. The only thing they want to look at is my transcripts. There's no problem with them. They said they just want to look at it so they can get out an offer."
This spring, Geohaghan will have a chance to impress even more schools.
"Texas Tech is supposed to be coming and staying the whole day," Geohaghan said. "I heard Notre Dame and Auburn are looking at me, too."
