Geffert has new school on list
Giffith, Ind., defensive end Ben Geffert has had several Big Ten and a couple MAC schools on his list. However a third MAC school is a new addition.
"Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, then Northern Illinois and Ball State, those are my top ones," Geffert said. "I visited Purdue, Northern Illinois, and Ball State. I'm going to camps in June at all of them."

Geffert said coaches from all of the schools he mentioned have been to his school. And another MAC school has just entered the picture.
"Bowling Green recently started showing interest," Geffert said. "One of their coaches came to my school. Most kids want to go to the Big Ten, but I wouldn't mind the MAC."
The 6-foot-5 and 260-pound Geffert was a varsity starter at center his freshman year. The past two seasons he has started at defensive end. Geffert will play either defensive end or tackle in college.
