Gbunblee impressed with Badger visit

Cypress (Texas) Springs three-star tight end Amos Gbunblee took his first official visit to Wisconsin this past weekend, and from all indications the Badgers are going to high on the 6-foot-4, 237-pounder’s list.
“I liked it,” he said. “IT had everything I was looking for. They’re a good team, and they had what I wanted academically. I thought was going to be pretty cold, too, but it wasn’t so bad. The cold really doesn’t bother me a lot, but since I’m from Houston it might take a little while to get used to the cold all the time.”

Gbunblee said he did have Missouri and Georgia Tech both set up for this weekend, but he’s decided to go ahead and visit Tech this weekend and then Missouri the following weekend. TCU is set up for January 9 and it looks like K-State or Texas A&M will battle it out for the final trip.
“I’m kind of leaning more toward Texas A&M for that trip since it’s close to home,” he said.
Gbunblee is ranked as the nation’s No. 24 tight end by Rivals.com.
