Gators offer 2015 lineman

One of five class of 2015 prospects in the state of Michigan to have received early scholarship offers is Saint Clair Shores (Mich.) South Lake offensive lineman Kyonta Stallworth. On Tuesday, the 6-foot-4, 270-pound sophomore landed offer No. 2.
"The newest offer came from Florida," Stallworth reported. "My coach called me and told me Coach [Will] Muschamp wanted to talk to me. He gave me an offer and said he would love for me to be a Florida Gator. He wants me to visit them and see how their school is."

Stallworth is already making plans to visit Gainesville, likely within the first few weeks after he finishes out the school year in June. His interest in the Gators is high after their offer.
"I am very excited and that's a blessing to get an offer from an SEC school," Stallworth said. "I'm pretty happy about me being a sophomore and getting an SEC offer. We'll go down there, see how they look and see what the coach is talking about."
The offer from Florida follows a previous offer from UCLA that Stallworth landed last month. Neither offer was expected by the Michigan lineman.
"I knew that they were interested, but I definitely didn't know they were going to offer me first," Stallworth said of UCLA. "That was probably the best day I ever had, being a sophomore and getting my first offer from a Pac-12 [school]."
Stallworth is also planning a summer trip out to UCLA. Meanwhile, he has made unofficial visits to Big Ten schools closer to home.
"I went up to Michigan for a spring practice a week ago and that was pretty good," Stallworth said. "I think they are going to be a good team this year, one of the best teams in the Big Ten.
"I went to Michigan State for the Wisconsin game. I got to talk to the head coach up there, the defensive coordinator and Coach [Terry] Samuel."
Stallworth's next visits could happen as soon as this weekend to Notre Dame and Northwestern. Indiana and Penn State are also showing early interest.
