Gators, Noles lead for in-state WR

Three-star Ft. Walton Beach (Fla.) Choctawhatchee wide receiver D.J. Hall says four schools have emerged as strong possibilities for official visits later this season.
“Most definitely, Florida and Florida State are on top right now,” he said. “After them, I’m thinking about LSU and Alabama. I’m not sure about fifth one right now.”

None of the official visits have been scheduled yet. Hall says he must wait to make sure which dates are free during his basketball season.
Hall (6-3, 185, 4.4) has offers from three of his four favorites. The Seminoles have yet to make it official, but Hall says he’s been a big enough fan of the program that he’s willing to be patient.
“That’s the school I grew up liking,” he said. “They’ve always been my favorite college team, so I hope to get that call sometime letting me know they’re offering me.”
Auburn, Maryland and South Carolina have also offered, but appear to be longshots at this point.
As a junior, Hall recorded 42 catches for 944 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also had 25 tackles and four interceptions on defense.
This season, he missed two of Choctawhatchee’s games with a high ankle sprain, but has bounced back to grab 13 passes for 340 yards and six touchdowns in four games.
He's rated the No. 34 wideout nationally by Rivals.com.
