Gators lead big for Tampa DL

Tampa (Fla.) Middleton defensive line prospect Moses McCray claims multiple scholarship offers from BCS Conference programs. One in-state school has gotten out to a big early lead in the race for the 6-foot-4, 275-pounder.
"I like Florida," he said. "Their program is good and they have a good engineering program, which is what I want to major in."

McCray says the Gators have offered, along with Rutgers, Maryland and South Carolina. Auburn, Florida State, Ohio State and South Florida also are programs that McCray has an interest in.
During a recent unofficial visit to Florida, several things stood out.
"It was great," he said. "Everything was well-organized."
Two-time Rivals.com National Top 25 recruiter Stan Drayton is the recruiter of record for Florida.
McCray said that several things will factor into his final decision when he makes it.
"It's going to come down to the atmosphere," he said. "And also how I feel."
McCray plans to attend either the Miami NIKE Camp or the Tallahassee NIKE Camp. He projects as either a strongside defensive end or a defensive tackle in college.
