Gators Get Pledge

Summitt (Miss.) Southwest Mississippi C.C. defensive tackle DeMarcus Johnson has made the call.
"I'm going to Florida," said the 6-foot-4, 280-pounder who hails from Tallahassee, Fla. "I just felt they gave me the best chance to reach all my goals."

Johnson chose the Gators this past Saturday over Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Clemson, South Carolina and Central Florida.
"I know Florida is known for their offense, but they've put guys like Gerald Warren in the NFL at d-tackle so that's cool," he said. "They're always in the hunt for the national title too."
Johnson also cleared up some info about his teammates.
"Chad Mascoe is heading to Florida State as you probably know," he said. "Kelvin Morris and Brandon Jamison are going to Clemson and Roy Williams committed to Central Florida."
