Gaskin lands third offer

Myles Gaskin is one of the top running backs in the West and the Seattle (Wash.) O'Dea prospect recently landed another Pac-12 offer.
Arizona State is the latest one to come through for the 5-foot-10, 185-pound three-star recruit and it's a school he said would be seriously considered.

"I've been talking to one of their coaches for a while and he offered me as a running back," Gaskin said.
"I'm going to take a close look. I think that would be a really good school for me to go to. All the schools that have offered I really like. ASU I could see myself there."
Gaskin, rated eighth in the 2015 Washington state rankings, also has offers from Washington and Washington State.
The Seattle O'Dea standout said Oregon, Colorado and BYU are showing a lot of interest. Gaskin has said recently that Washington is probably considered an early favorite but that was still when Steve Sarkisian was there.
The 2015 prospect said he's talked with the new coaching staff and the Huskies are still playing a big role in his recruitment.
"I like all the new coaches," Gaskin said. "They're really cool and nice guys. I feel like they're going to bring the program up a lot.
"Coach (Chris) Petersen is a really cool guy and they have a set plan on where they want to go for next year. I'm interested in that and seeing how that goes. I would think about going there, too. I need to sit down with my parents and talk it all out.
"Personalities have changed but everything is cool. I like all of them. The goals have stayed the same so I really like them."
