Garner torn on when to commit

Four-star Olney (Md.) Good Counsel cornerback Kirk Garner seems to be a bit torn.
On the one hand he's starting to get a pretty good idea of which schools are standing out. On the other hand he would like to take some official visits if at all possible.

"As soon as I feel like I'm ready to make a decision and know for sure where I want to be then I'll probably commit," Garner said late this week. "But if you commit early there's no chance of making your officials. Those free trips wouldn't be available."
This summer Garner will attend the Top Gun camp in Virginia and beyond that he's unsure of college visits.
So far he has been to Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland and Auburn, and he said he has a pretty clear picture of who he likes at the moment. That's subject to change, however.
"I've been thinking about narrowing it down a little bit to about three schools. I believe I could tell you three schools but I don't want to make a statement about that until I'm 100-percent sure I'm ready," he said.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back is a four-star prospect and ranked the No. 27 corner in the nation.
