Garner still looking for attention

Michael Garner had an impressive junior season and helped lead San Diego (Calif.) Madison to a state championship but his recruitment hasn't taken off yet.
The 5-foot-10, 167-pound three-star wide receiver said he's still sitting with his offers from Arizona and Idaho and not many other teams are recruiting him at this point.

Garner, who looked good at the Rivals Camp Series in Los Angeles this spring, said he did well in Madison's scrimmage last week and he's looking forward to a big senior season. Madison opens up Friday night at Lincoln, Calif.
"It's looking really good," Garner said. "We had our first scrimmage and I looked pretty good.
"Everything is just laying low. It's the same stuff and nothing much has changed.
"I still have the two offers and no new schools have contacted me or showed interest. None have dropped as well and I'm getting the same amount of interest I've been getting the last few months."
The only trip Garner has so far is to Idaho midway through the season. A trip to Arizona, where teammate Pierre Cormier signed last recruiting cycle, is not planned at this point but something could happen in the future.
"I'm planning a visit to Idaho on our bye week," Garner said. "I want to say that's our fourth week. That's the only trip planned so far."
Oregon State, UCLA, Boise State, Washington State, Wisconsin, Stanford and Vanderbilt are other programs that have shown interest in Garner earlier in his recruitment.
