Garner discusses the latest

Olney (Md.) Good Counsel cornerback Kirk Garner is claiming double-digit offers. The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder is hoping to take some trips soon, but doesn't have any planned.
"I've just been in contact with a couple different schools," he said. "I believe I have more offers that I don't know about. I think I just got South Carolina and Auburn, and I believe a couple more schools are close. I think I'm up to 15 or 20 offers."

Garner hasn't taken visits, but hopes to.
"I wish I had some plans," he said. "Coaches are blowing me up. I know South Carolina just passed and Boston College is on the 28th of this month, so that is pretty reasonable. There are a couple more on the 20th, it's hard to travel though."
Does Garner have any favorites?
"I have no specific favorites yet, I'm looking at everything," he said. "I'm looking for early playing time like how Blake Countess went to Michigan and was able to play as a freshman.
"I also want a great coaching staff and just a program that feels like a family. I want to film at home away from home."
Are there any schools Garner is hoping will offer?
"I really want Ohio State, Clemson and Tennessee," he said. "I've been in contact with Michigan too and want that.
"Those programs have always stood out to me. I've loved Ohio State since I was little and Urban Meyer is there, so they are going to have a big turnaround. However, some schools might lose coaches in the next year, so I have to take the process slow."
