Garland OT gets first offer
Garland, Texas, is always home to some of the top prospects in the state of Texas, and it looks like one of the state’s better offensive lineman has picked up his first scholarship offer. So which team was first to send a scholarship J.D. Quinn’s direction?
“TCU offered me (Tuesday),” Quinn said. “I’m really excited about it. I still like the others that are on my list, but TCU is now going to be a team I look at.”

Quinn has listed his top five teams as Texas A&M, Kansas State, Iowa, Oklahoma and Texas. He’s said in the past that the Aggies held the lead for him.
When it comes time to pick a school, Quinn isn't as concerned about where the school is as what kind of football tradition they have.
"Football tradition at the school will be the top thing I look at. Then location will be second."
