Garland DT with first offers

Yet another Garland, Texas defensive lineman has picked his first scholarship offers over the last few weeks.
Playing next to Rivals100 prospect Chancey Aghayere is yet another talented defensive lineman Casey Walker. Standing at 6-foot-2, 303 pounds, Walker says he has picked up his first written scholarship offers from Arizona, Colorado, and Ole Miss with several verbal offers out there as well.

"A lot of schools that haven't offered on paper said they're coming my way," Walker said. "Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Florida have sent a lot of stuff. I've had a few letters from Miami as well – LSU too."
Oklahoma is one school that Walker says is an early favorite, but he plans to check out all of the schools that are showing him attention before making a commitment. He previously visited Oklahoma and Texas A&M for junior day trips earlier this year.
Walker says he plans on making that decision before his senior season begins.
"I'm probably going to decide close to the season and if not, I might go ahead and do it before the season if all the offers I want have come in," he said. "If that doesn't happen, I'll just wait until the season begins or around playoff time."
As a defensive tackle, Walker says he brings a lot to the table.
"I'm pretty fast for my size," he said. "Whoever is lined up in front of me, they know that it's me coming. I play hard. My mother is always running."
Walker was an honorable mention all-district selection as a junior.
