Lacey, who is 5-foot-10 and 155 pounds, said he's now a Cowboy.
"I loved everything about Kansas, and the coaches up there are great guys, but I just liked my opportunities a little bit better at Oklahoma State," Lacey said. "The Oklahoma State coaches did a good job and said they think I could come in an be an impact for them almost right away."
Lacey visited Kansas, Colorado, Iowa, Oklahoma State and Wisconsin. He originally committed to Kansas on December 21.
Even though the Jayhawks are going to miss out on Lacey, KU did land a higher-ranked cornerback on Friday when they picked up a commitment from E.J. Biggers of North Miami Beach, Fla.
