Gardner plans to visit three

Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence Central offensive lineman Timothy Gardner lists offers from six schools early in his recruitment. The 6-5, 340-pound prospect is now looking to take junior day visits to several of those programs in the coming weeks.
"I plan on going to Notre Dame's, Purdue's and Louisville's," Gardner said. "I know that Purdue's is the 25th and I think Louisville is the day after or the day before."

Gardner says he has been offered by Indiana, Notre Dame, Purdue, Wisconsin, Iowa and Toledo with his latest offer coming from the Hawkeyes.
"That was probably last week," Gardner said. "My head coach actually talked with the coach who recruits over here and sent him some film."
Gardner was not sure, but believed he may also have one from Louisville. They are among the coaching staffs he communicates with most frequently.
"I always talk with Coach [Kevin] Wilson from IU and then with Coach [Charlie] Strong from Louisville," Gardner said. "Also Coach [Donn] Landholm from Purdue."
Ohio State is a school that has not yet offered Gardner, but is certainly on his radar. He received a junior day invite from the Buckeye's, but was unable to make that trip this past weekend.
"I would like an offer from Ohio State, if possible," Gardner said. "That would be kind of a dream offer. When I was growing up I always loved the Buckeyes and went to a lot of their games when I was younger.
"Probably right now, though, it would be Notre Dame [standing out most]. I like their coaching staff and just the tradition that they have there."
