Gardner on the verge of a decision

Dinwiddie, Va. wide receiver Trey Gardner recently took an official visit. The 6-foot-5, 202-pounder may be on the verge of a decision.
"I told Miami (Ohio) two weeks ago I'd think about my decision about two weeks," he said. "They are planning to come see me tomorrow, and I think I may try to have my decision by tomorrow."

Obviously the visit went well, Gardner went on about his official.
"I think it was pretty good," he said. "I liked the academics and everything there. They gave me a real good feeling; it was different from down here.
"I like the fact they are a wide receiver friendly team, they pass the ball and all the players were nice."
While a decision may be close, Gardner holds three other offers from Delaware, North Carolina Central and Liberty. He is also receiving interest from Virginia, Old Dominion and Marshall.
As for his injury, the two-star prospect is seeing a big improvement in the past five games since coming back.
"My injury is good now, I'm back to normal," he said. "I played in the last five games and I'm doing pretty well. I've scored in every game I've been back.
"I know that my feet are better. I really worked on that when I wasn't playing."
