Gardner lands new offer

About a month ago, wide receiver Trey Gardner looked to be closing in on a decision. Now, the 6-foot-5, 202-pounder is holding off as recruiting picks back up with a new offer.
"I decided to wait," he said. "Coach Mills got a call from Bowling Green the other day. They are a new school that decided to take an interest and they just offered me on Friday."

Gardner holds other offers from Delaware, Liberty, Miami (Ohio) and North Carolina Central.
At last check, Virginia was still showing interest too.
"They just came by to talk to my coach and I guess all they want is my senior film," he said. "It's just a matter of time to see what their decisions are."
Gardner has yet to make any visits as Dinwiddie just wrapped up their season on Saturday losing in the state semifinals to Phoebus 21-13.
"I did well," he said. "I came back from my leg injury and it was just as strong as the other one. I'm back on track and I've had some big parts of games, my last real big game was the last game of the regular season."
