South Carolina is all smiles today after one of their top targets decided to cancel his remaining official visits and become a Gamecock.
Cory Boyd of Orange, N.J. had already cancelled his visit to Virginia earlier this week and now he will not visit Virginia Tech or Boston College either.
"Yes, Cory committed to South Carolina and he couldn’t be happier," said the sister of the 6-foot-1, 186-pound running back/safety. "He's not taking any other trips."
It was no secret that Cory had favored South Carolina for sometime now. He has family living close to the university and he felt very comfortable when he was on his visit.
Boyd is ranked as the No. 12 player in the state of New Jersey.
