Game day setting impressed DB

St. Augustine, Fla., safety Willie Cooper has had a lot of great football experiences, but his visit to Florida this weekend will rank up there.
What impressed him the most was how the Florida coaches gave the players a game-like experience – all the way from the trip by buss with police escort to the running out onto the field with the band playing.

“That’s the first time that I’ve had that happen,” Cooper said. “It was totally different then my visit to Florida State. It really gave you the experience of what it was like to be a player. And you wanted to go out there on the field and hit somebody.”
But was the show good enough to push Florida State and Miami from the top spot on his list?
Cooper said he didn’t know what he was thinking now and is really torn about what he wants to do.
“I know that I’ll start to make a decision after I go to Miami next weekend,” he said.
“I want to compare what I see with the facilities, talking to the coaches and how I feel. I just want to be at somewhere where I’m comfortable.”
