Massillon (Ohio) Washington defensive back Brian Gamble has scholarship offers from a couple MAC schools. However Gamble says he is thinking bigger.
"Akron and Ball State have offered," Gamble said. "I'm looking at both of them, but I'm waiting on a little bit bigger things to come.
"I'm looking at Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State. And also West Virginia. All of them have called."
Gamble is in the process of of attending camps at or visiting most of those schools.
"I went to the NIKE Camp at Ohio State," he said. "It was good.
"(Today) I go to Ball State's camp. Then West Virginia and Michigan will be the next two camps.
"I'll probably go see what Penn State is like. I want to take a trip down to Tennessee."
Gamble is in no hurry to select a college.
"I don't have a favorite," he said. "I'll wait till after my senior season (to decide)."
The 5-foot-11 and 185-pound Gamble played both safety and running back during his junior season. He made 100 tackles and intercepted four passes while also rushing for 1571 yards and 24 touchdowns.
"I want to play defensive back in college," Gamble said. "Either safety or cornerback. Recruiters say they like me as an athlete. I like safety. I like to hit."
