Gallons big season leading to offers

Chris Gallon transferred from Oviedo (Fla.) High School to Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips for his senior season in hopes of seeing increased interest. The move has shown some results for the 6-foot-5, 205-pound wideout as his offer list has recently expanded by two schools.
"I just picked up FAU and Bowling Green," Gallon said. "I am hearing from Michigan, Nebraska, South Florida, Florida State, Iowa State, and some other schools as well."

Gallon previously held offers from Colorado State, Florida A&M, and Memphis. At this time, he has plans made to see one of the schools that has yet to pull the trigger.
"Me and Dee (Hart) and some other teammates, we are all going up to Michigan for the Illinois game," Gallon said. "That is the only trip I have planned for right now. I am not sure if it will be an official, but most likely it will be."
So far this season, Gallon has 15 receptions for 317 yards and five touchdowns and is a big part of the Panthers (6-0) offensive attack. With a state title in their sights, Gallon is focused on the field and hopes his production leads to more offers at the conclusion of the season.
"That is my plan right now, to let it play out the rest of the season and see what happens," Gallon said. "I think I will get some more offers, but once an offer comes that I know I want then I am going to take it. But right now my focus is just on playing ball."
While he intends to wait, the three-star prospect admits that the right offer combined with a good visit could lead to a quicker decision.
"I have to think it out but after I visit a school if I like it a lot, then I would do it," Gallon said. "Michigan, Tennessee, and Miami are schools I would really like an offer from, but mostly Michigan."
Academically, Gallon has taken the SAT and is awaiting his score.
