Gallimore bonds with FSU players, coaches

Rivals250 defensive tackle Neville Gallimore took his second official visit of the process this past weekend to Florida State. Based on the feedback he gave his high school coach, the Seminoles made a strong impression.
Gallimore flew home from Tallahassee on Monday and gave his head coach at Canada Prep Academy, Geoff McArthur, a recap on the weekend.

"I saw him for about ten minutes," McArthur said. "He said it was a great trip. They had a good host for him and he said everybody there seemed like straight shooters. He felt like everybody was genuine and everybody was being honest with the way they presented themselves."
Injured Florida State defensive lineman Nile Lawrence-Stemple was Gallimore's player-host for the weekend.
"He said he bonded with the coaches and the players," McArthur said. "They hosted him with someone he could relate to and did a good job of making him feel comfortable."
The visit centered around the Florida State's Saturday night match-up with fellow undefeated Notre Dame.
"(Gallimore) said he had a great time and it was a crazy environment," McArthur said. "'Hype' was the word he used to describe it."
The trip to Florida State was Gallimore's second official visit of the process. He made his first last month to Oklahoma.
"After the Oklahoma visit I think he felt overwhelmed and excited about Oklahoma," McArthur said. "Then, this last trip I think it puts things into perspective. That's why you take your five visits - to see how you feel at the end of it. I think if he had to decide today between Oklahoma and Florida State after those two trips, I think he'd have a tough decision. And, the same thing's going to happen when he goes to Oregon."
There is a good chance Oregon will be the next school to host Gallimore for an official visit, with the weekend of Nov. 22 being discussed. A fourth official visit with Ohio State is close to being confirmed for the weekend of Nov. 29 as well.
Florida is the fifth school Gallimore listed in his top five last month, though schools like Mississippi State and Notre Dame continue to recruit the 6-foot-3, 303-pound defensive tackle and could make a play for a late official visit as well.
