Three-star LaPlace (La.) defensive end Dion Gales has pulled the trigger on his college decision.
“I’m going to be an Ole Miss Rebel,” he said.
He picked the Rebels over Miami and LSU, among others.
"They just had the best situation for me as a person, a student and a football player," Gales said. "I liked the coaches and the people in their program. I can't wait to get up there and be with those guys this summer."
He was scheduled to take his final official visit with LSU this past weekend, but did not make that trip.
Gales (6-5, 255, 4.9) had 85 tackles and 25 sacks as a senior. He is rated the No. 24 strongside defensive end in the nation by Rivals.com.
