Galas has Pac-10 leader

Modesto (Calif.) Central Catholic offensive lineman Dominic Galas is among the top true center prospects in the West this year. In our opinion, there isn't a program in the region that Galas isn't good enough to play for despite lacking the ideal height most colleges are looking for.
Galas, 6-1, 270 pounds is as mean and nasty as they come. He plays with an edge to him that you love to see and is a great looking center prospect. He has great film and looked the part at the NorCal NIKE Camp earning OL MVP honors.

On the recruiting front, Galas is still sitting on the same five offers he has held since the early summer.
"Oregon State, Boise State, Colorado, UNLV and Nevada," Galas said. "It's always been a dream of mine to play in the Pac 10 so I really like Oregon State a lot.
"Plus they were my first offer but I'm still open to the other schools as well. I'm definitely going to visit Boise State and I'm looking forward to it because they are a power and I'm also looking forward to visiting Colorado.
"Right now, my main focus is on our team. Everything is about Cardinal Newman. That's who we want and that's who we're after. They snapped our 61 game winning streak last season and that's who we open with so we're all excited to get a chance to play them again."
