Gaines, Reed in the Showcase spotlight
Rivals.com has teamed up with All Star Video Sports for a new weekly feature on the top recruits and the top high school teams in the Kansas City area.
Every week, AllStarVideoSports.com will release the week's show, hosted by Nick McCabe of Sports Radio 810 WHB and Rivals.com national recruiting editor Jeremy Crabtree.

This week's episode focuses on Fort Osage, Mo., standout E.J. Gaines, who is committed to Missouri.
Gaines has exploded with a monster senior season and is quickly climbing the charts as one of the top overall players in the Show Me State.
He's also got two teammates - quarterback Ed Pearl and Kamryn Tillman - that are getting heavy interest from schools all over the region.
On the Kansas side, the focus shifts to a East Kansas League battle between Overland Park (Kan.) St. Thomas Aquinas and Overland Park Blue Valley Northwest.
Aquinas is headlined by do-it-all junior prospect Dagan Reed, who already has a Big 12 offer on his resume. Reed is the younger brother of Nebraska freshman tight end Kyler Reed.
Also Blue Springs, Mo., junior running back Darrian Miller is featured after he had a monster game last Friday night.
