Fayetteville (N.C.) Pine Forest defensive tackle Lamont Gaillard has already been to North Carolina several times, but may not stop him from making a return trip to Chapel Hill this summer.
The 6-foot-2, 328-pound defensive tackle has been to UNC for a basketball game and for practices. Those practices impressed him earlier in the spring, and he could see himself there.
"I like the way they practice," Gaillard said. "They practice quick. It's a heavy pace. The coaches are good. [Larry] Fedora's really good. I've been talking to him a lot, and coach Vic Koenning. But everybody's high [on his list]. I don't know where I'm going right now."

North Carolina is not the only school Gaillard plans to visit.
"I'm going back to Georgia and hopefully I'll get to go to LSU. I'm going to go back to Clemson, too.
"Georgia's coaching staff is great. They've got good players. I got to sit with them and talk a little bit last time [he visited].
"Clemson, the same really. The coaching staff is good and they have nice facilities as well."
Gaillard said he is leaning towards making a decision sometime this summer or at least before he would otherwise take official visits.
