Sylmar (Calif.) running back C.J. Gable is just days away from making his college choice. The standout running back will decide between USC and Arizona on the L.A. Times HS Show on Thursday.
We talked with Gable on Sunday who said he had his school in mind and was just waiting for a time to announce it. That time will come this Thursday.
"I'm ready to get this over with," Gable said. "It's been a cool process. I learned a lot about the schools and I had a good time on all my visits. Both USC and Arizona are great schools and I know I can't go wrong with either of them. The coaches have been great to me but in the end, I'll just follow my heart and do what I feel is best for me."

Gable didn't give any hints at where he's headed and we didn't ask. He did tell us this past Sunday following his visit to Tucson, that USC was still his top choice and that it would be tough for anyone to beat them out. Unless something has changed in the last three days, the Trojans look like the odds on favorite in this race.
