Ga. Tech, Purdue offer 2016 GA WR

As one of the top playmakers for one of the nation's top high school programs, it was only a matter of time before 2016 Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County wide receiver Kiel Pollard started to garner attention.
After picking up an offer from Cincinnati over the summer, Pollard recently added offers from Purdue and Georgia Tech and is also getting interest from Arkansas and UCF.

"Purdue told me I'm one of their big targets in the 2016 class," the 6-foot-1, 214-pound Pollard said. "They're really telling me they want me to become a member of their team. They are sending me mail every day it seems like."
While the Boilermakers correspondence has been primarily through the mail and social media, Pollard said Georgia Tech is taking a more vocal approach.
"I've been talking to the coaches from there," he said. "They want me to come to some games and get up and see what they have to offer."
In Colquitt's offense Pollard is asked to do his share of blocking in addition to playmaking, a role his thinks can translate to Georgia Tech's offense.
"You've got to be a team player because the ball isn't always going to come your way," Pollard said. "But when it does you have to be ready to make plays too and I think I can do that. I have good size and I think I'm getting better at blocking every day because it's something I work on."
Through five games this season Pollard has 24 catches for 304 yards and three touchdowns. He also has a punt return for a touchdown.
