Ga. star to make Big Ten visit

"Our season is over," College Park (Ga.) Banneker wide receiver Carlos Thomas said. "I only played in seven games. I had a shoulder injury. I had a strained AC joint."
Thomas, who caught 25 passes and scored 12 times in those seven games, committed to Georgia Tech and considers himself a "soft" commitment to the Yellow Jackets.
"I'm still looking at Ohio State, Maryland, Georgia, and LSU," Thomas said. "All of them offered me.
"I haven't scheduled any visits yet, but I'll probably visit all of them. I'll probably set my visits up in December."
The 5-foot-11, 165 pound Thomas is the No. 9 wide receiver prospect in the player rankings and the No. 4 prospect in the state of Georgia.
