GA back impressed with Big Ten visit

"I was up at Ohio State this weekend," Atlanta (Ga.) Marist running back Anderson Russell said. "I just got in the house actually."
"Russell and his mother flew up to Columbus for an unofficial visit to Ohio State and saw the Buckeyes victory over Penn State.

"I liked it," Russell said. "I loved it. The crowd was great. Everywhere you looked was a sea of red. I talked to coach Mel Tucker. I'm going to try and set up a visit for Dec. 10. I talked to coach Tucker about that.
"Right now they're No. 1."
Asked what other schools he is looking at, Russell said, "Duke, Furman, and Georgia Tech. That's it. Duke and Furman have offered me."
The 6-foot-0 and 195 pound Russell led his team to a 9-1 record and a spot in the state playoffs Friday. He has played mostly running back and has scored 14 times. Russell has also played some safety and cornerback.
