Future Five: Pac-12 watches Cota

The recruiting process is starting earlier than ever and prospects are sometimes
identified even before they reach high school. Much like our

series, we will spotlight five players per week that are early in their football
careers and have the potential to be highly touted college football prospects by
the time they graduate high school.
Who's Interested: Georgia, Kentucky and Ole Miss have Litaker on their radar but have yet to offer.
What's Interesting: Oakland High School produces a ton of talent like former four-stars Jack Jones, Josh Smith and 2017 Rivals100 athlete Jacoby Stevens. Litaker is next in line. At 6-foot-3, 285-pounds, he has the body of an SEC defensive tackle. Look for offers to come quickly as Litaker gets out to camps in the spring and summer.
DT
PJ Mustipher (2018)
Owings Mills (Md.) McDonogh
Who's Interested: Mustipher holds offers from Maryland, Penn State, Duke and Tennessee. Not too far down the line, Notre Dame will offer, along with many other top tier programs.
What's Interesting: McDonogh is one of the best, most talented teams in the Mid-Atlantic, and Mustipher might be its most talented player in a long time. Notre Dame already holds a significant edge for him. He has visited a number of times and his brother, Sam Mustipher, plays for the Fighting Irish. More schools will certainly come calling before Mustipher announces a commitment.
WR
Justyn Ross (2018)
Phenix City (Ala.) Central
Who's Interested: Ross' first five offers came from SEC schools -- Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Missouri.
What's Interesting: It's pretty impressive that all five of Ross' offers are from SEC schools. That doesn't happen often but Ross is definitely worth it. He is dominant on the field and projects very well to the college game. Less than an hour from Auburn and more than three hours from Alabama, it will be fun to see how his recruitment plays out if it becomes an in-state battle.
DE
Max Wright (2018)
Katy (Texas) James E. Taylor
Who's Interested: Wright has offers from Texas A&M, Georgia, Baylor, Duke, Houston and Missouri.
What's Interesting: There are very few college football teams that don't want a tough, physical defensive end from Texas. Wright fits the bill and then some. He has great size, plenty of room to fill out his frame and moves very well. With Texas prospects, one of the biggest question marks is where they will leave the state. Wright could go either way, but it will be fun to see the twists and turns his recruitment takes.
