Future Five: Blaylock causes stir

The recruiting process is starting earlier than ever and prospects are sometimes
identified even before they reach high school. Much like our

series, we will spotlight five players per week that are early in their football
careers and have the potential to be highly touted college football prospects by
the time they graduate high school.
Who's Interested: Syracuse was the first school to offer Bleich and Rutgers followed soon. Penn State is expected to offer soon as well.
What's Interesting: Bleich is from an area that doesn't have a deep talent pool, but he will be a national prospect. At 6-foot-5, 315-pounds, Bleich is a devastating run blocker and has the athleticism to be a cornerstone tackle and stop edge rushers. Plenty of schools will reach out to Bleich to extend offers and we'll find out which schools pique his interest.
ATH
Brevin Jordan (2018)
Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman
Who's Interested: Bishop Gorman has been one of the most talented programs in the country with players going to Texas A&M, Arizona State, Notre Dame, UCLA, Nebraska and many others. Every college that recruits Bishop Gorman knows about Jordan.
What's Interesting: Jordan follows a long line of talented prospects to come out of Bishop Gorman. He does not have any offers yet, but could project as a linebacker or tight end. Watching Jordan's recruitment develop, which teams want him on offense or defense and which teams emerge as his leaders will be exciting.
LB
Anthony Solomon (2019)
Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas
Who's Interested: Many of the top programs in the country have already offered Solomon. Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, LSU, South Carolina and others want Solomon to play at their school.
What's Interesting: As a high school freshman, Solomon has 12 scholarship offers and plays on one of the most talented high school football teams in the country, but he's only 6-foot-1, 188-pounds. How will he develop physically? Will Solomon still project as a linebacker or will he grown into another position?
OL
Kardell Thomas (2019)
Baton Rouge (La.) Southern Lab
Who's Interested: LSU has already expressed interest but has not offered yet.
What's Interesting: What's not interesting about a 6-foot-4, 315-pound freshman? On top of that, Thomas goes to school pretty much on LSU's campus. Five-star teammate Dylan Moses committed to LSU very early in the process, but has since decommitted. What effect that has on Thomas remains to be seen.
