Future Cowboy ready to get to school

Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College defensive tackle Josh Pinaire made a verbal commitment to play at Oklahoma State early in the 2004 football season. He followed up his verbal commitment with a signature in December, but now is hearing things about his future head coach looking at another program.
"I'm still solid with them," the 6-foot-5, 290-pound Pinaire said. "I signed a couple weeks ago in December. I'm all set to be going there in a couple weeks."

The only new news for Pinaire is the fact that Les Miles, his future head coach, is talking with LSU about their coaching vacancy.
"Coach Miles, well, I'm hoping nothing happens with that. If he leaves, I would probably just stay, regardless of what happens. I'm signed and I wouldn't want to have to change my mind and go through all the hassle again. Hopefully he's still there and nothing changes. We'll see, though."
After he chose to play for the Cowboys, a couple other schools expressed interest, but it wasn't enough for him to change his mind.
"After I committed, Kansas called a little bit, and Kansas State a little bit, but nothing really was serious. I was solid with my pick of Oklahoma State and there was never any real chance that I would have changed."
