Furr decides he wants to be a Cowboy

The Oklahoma State Cowboys just landed a big commitment from one of the top defensive prospects in the state of Georgia. LeRon Furr, an outside linebacker prospect from Columbus (Ga.) Carver High School, just made his decision.
"I committed to Oklahoma State," Furr said. "I felt real comfortable with coach (Glen) Spencer. He will be my position coach and I feel good about playing for him. He's just a great person that I trust. My parents felt comfortable with him as well and my decision over all. When I went to Oklahoma State on my visit I just loved it up there. The coaches and players are great. Coach (Mike) Gundy was just great to talk to. I can't wait to play for them.

"It was a hard decision. It was close between them and Arkansas."
Furr, 6-3 and 225 pounds, is a three-star linebacker prospect. He visited the Cowboys in early October and he hopes to get up there one more time before National Signing Day.
"Another reason why I picked them is because I love their defense. Their defense is similar to ours that we run in high school. I think it's a great defense and if I can stay healthy and learn the playbook I can get some early playing time.
This feels so good. What a relief."
