Funderburk visits big-time programs

Daejuan Funderburk is more open-minded about the recruiting process today than he was a few weeks ago and now he is in the process of doing as much research as he can.
At one point not too long ago Funderburk listed Florida State, West Virginia, Tennessee and Rutgers as his favorites. They may still hold a special place in his heart, as does Wisconsin, but he is now trying to stay away from words like "favorites" and "leaders".

Recently the 6-foot-1, 188-pound safety from Washington (D.C.) Friendship went on a tour of several Midwestern schools that always command a lot of respect from recruits.
"I took a visit to Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State," Funderburk said. "They were just tours of the school.
"Ohio State stood out to me. Michigan and Penn State did too. They've got great facilities and just a wonderful atmosphere. The students at [those schools] really showed love, too."
Of those schools, Funderburk said Michigan is probably showing the most interest.
This weekend Funderburk is visiting Toledo and Ohio in the Buckeye State. He is now up to more than a dozen offers and said he has not narrowed his list again after opening things up.
