FUMA CB makes a decision

Fork Union (Va.) Fork Union Military Academy cornerback Jamil Shaw took his second official visit this past weekend. The 6-foot-1, 184-pounder made a decision on the official visit.
"I decided that Ohio was a good fit for me," he said. "I went ahead and committed.

"My teammate Skyler Allen was with me on the visit and he decided to commit as well."
What made Shaw decide on Ohio?
"After sitting down and talking with Coach Solich, I liked Ohio I was comfortable there," he stated. "I'm really happy to get the recruiting process over with and now I can focus on getting faster and stronger for next season so I can try to contribute at Ohio."
Shaw went on about his visit to his future home.
"The visit was good this week," he said. "Ohio had a bye so I didn't get a chance to see them play.
"The atmosphere of the campus was good and everyone seemed to love the football team."
Shaw was hosted on the visit by Gerald Moore.
"He is from my area, so I got to talk to him about what the transition was like from home to Athens. I talked to other players too and they said that although they were struggling, they believed next year they will be a great one since their backfield has been plagued with injuries since the second game of the season. They have come close to winning a bunch of games."
