Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar safety Tajarvis Fuller shared his thoughts when he heard the news of Ron Zook's dismissal at Illinois on Sunday.
"I was disappointed when I heard the news," Fuller said. "But I am still part of the Illini family. I am still going to Illinois, all the way.
"I am 100% committed to Illinois," Fuller added.
While Zook won't be coaching the Illini in 2012, his former staff remains intact at this time. Whether or not they are retained could impact Fuller's final decision.
"It is like this, as of right now, the staff has not changed - the only thing that has changed is the head coach," Fuller said. "Until everything changes and I know what the plan is for next year, I really can't say I am going to decommit or anything. There will be no decommitting as of right now."
When asked if there was a particular assistant that would influence his decision, Fuller said there is not one particular coach on the staff that will sway his decision to stick with or part with the Illini.
Fuller is planning to take his official visit to Illinois on the weekend of December 16th. That is his only official visit planned at this time.
