Sean Dollars had been hearing a ton from then-Oregon assistant coach Donte Pimpleton and now that he’s at Florida State, the 2019 four-star running back said things have not slowed down.

They actually picked up earlier this week when the four-star who recently transferred from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., to Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei landed his latest offer from the Seminoles.

It’s early but Dollars definitely has interest.

“It means a lot to have a coach who changed schools and still is interested in me,” Dollars said. “I built a good connection with coach Pimp.”

What could also help Florida State in the pursuit of Dollars is that the Seminoles just signed Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco five-star safety Jaiden Woodbey, flipping him from Ohio State. The two both played for Ground Zero 7on7.

“It’s not really a big deal for me, just good to know if I commit I have somebody there with me,” Dollars said.

So far, the four-star speedster has landed offers from Arizona State, Colorado, Florida State, Nebraska, Oregon, TCU, UCLA, Utah and Washington. Cal has been showing the most recent interest.

In his junior season, Dollars finished with 919 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on 134 carries and he also caught a touchdown pass.

There is an early leader but the four-star standout remains open to all programs.

“No doubt Washington is at top and FSU is on top as well,” Dollars said. “Oregon is still around there.”
